Introducing my latest painting featuring the rainbow swamps in First Landing State Park.
Caused by the oils in the leaves of the cypress trees this natural phenomenon can be witnessed on fresh wintry mornings in the park! Capturing the elongated shadows, the reflections of the trees in the water as well as the kaleidoscope of colors seemed initially daunting. It took a lot of planning, many layers of paint and patience....but I have to say I love the end result! The original painting and 100 limited edition prints are now available from my website shop!

Last year, I painted a watercolor of Oliver Cromwell in St. Ives. As a playful New Year's joke, I later added a traffic cone on his head. I never expected it to become so popular! |
