Introducing my latest painting featuring the rainbow swamps in First Landing State Park.
Caused by the oils in the leaves of the cypress trees this natural phenomenon can be witnessed on fresh wintry mornings in the park!
Capturing the elongated shadows, the reflections of the trees in the water as well as the kaleidoscope of colors seemed initially daunting. It took a lot of planning, many layers of paint and patience....but I have to say I love the end result!

I'm delighted to have recently finished Station 17, Sandbridge in watercolor, pen and ink. 

I love the architecture of this building and I've been meaning to paint it for some time! With its strategic location, Station 17 plays a crucial role in responding swiftly to emergencies, ensuring that the beautiful Sandbridge area remains safe.
