What a night! Huge thank you to the Virginia Museum Of Contemporary Art for such a wonderful evening! Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Where We Meet exhibition celebration.... it was amazing meeting so many talented Hampton Roads artists, and such an honor to have my work hanging alongside theirs! Thank you Naro Cinema for being my inspiration and big love to Sylvia and Joanna for being the best cheerleaders a girl could ask for (10/10 would bring again)l!

 I'm excited to announce that throughout November and December, all my small, limited edition prints will now come with a complimentary ribbon and gift label.
So why not spread a little local love, with a gift that celebrates our beautiful area!    Getting in the halloween mood, we took the girls to see Casper at Naro Cinema last week.
It was a lovely way to introduce the kids to a 90's favorite of mine and the cherry on top was seeing my limited edition print in the lobby! I'm so grateful to Naro Cinema for supporting a local artist. And I'm so excited that the original painting is currently in the Where We Meet Exhibition in the Virginia Museum Of Contemporary Art! Fresh off the easel, my latest watercolor featuring Astraea Coffee, here in Virginia Beach.
I love this cosy spot and there’s something so lovely about this time of year; the crisp cooler mornings, the golden light and the comfort of a good cup of coffee. Astraea in the Fall seemed like an obvious choice to paint! (Pssst-spot the teeny-tiny cardinal) The original and a small number of prints are now on my website for anyone who fancies a little bit of autumn cosiness on their wall! Delighted to have recently delivered a few new pieces, including Neptune at Sunrise, to the beautiful Beach Gallery in Virginia Beach last week!
They’ll be on display in the Saturated and Tinged Art Show, with the opening reception this Friday, October 10th. If you’re in the area and fancy a lovely evening out, come along to enjoy some wine, tasty nibbles, and wonderful art, all while supporting a fantastic local gallery and its artists! Limited edition prints of Neptune at Sunrise can still be purchased through my website shop! I'm very excited to have just dropped off my original watercolor at The Strawberry Patch Gift Shop in Pungo- to be exhibited and sold in their gorgeous shop!!

Taking inspiration from my surroundings, I decided to make a landscape cake based on one of my watercolor paintings- Rainbow Swamps!🌈 I'm a terrible baker, but luckily we have family staying with us, and Alex was here to lend a hand! The original watercolor painting of Rainbow Swamps is still available from my website store as well as limited edition prints!  I’m so excited to share that 2Beaches Studio in Virginia Beach will now be carrying a selection of my original paintings and prints!
This beautiful studio is filled with coastal-inspired treasures and is definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. I’m truly thrilled to have my work showcased in such a wonderful space! |
