So excited to share this detailed summer beach scene: over 70 people, dolphins, pelicans, and so many special little moments.
This was a truly lovely collaboration with the lady who commissioned it after moving away, wanting to hold onto her happiest beach memories. Creating a one-of-a-kind piece like this for her home was an absolute joy! A quiet walk through the rainbow swamps at First Landing State Park, one of my favourite places and the inspiration behind my watercolour painting. It felt like a moment to slow down, take it all in, and begin again. Wishing you a New Year filled with beauty, fresh air, and moments that stop you in your tracks edit. Huge thank you to the Virginia Museum Of Contemporary Art for such a wonderful evening! Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Where We Meet exhibition celebration.... it was amazing meeting so many talented Hampton Roads artists, and such an honor to have my work hanging alongside theirs! Thank you Naro Cinema for being my inspiration and big love to Sylvia and Joanna for being the best cheerleaders a girl could ask for (10/10 would bring again)l!  I'm excited to announce that throughout November and December, all my small, limited edition prints will now come with a complimentary ribbon and gift label.
So why not spread a little local love, with a gift that celebrates our beautiful area!    Getting in the halloween mood, we took the girls to see Casper at Naro Cinema last week.
It was a lovely way to introduce the kids to a 90's favorite of mine and the cherry on top was seeing my limited edition print in the lobby! I'm so grateful to Naro Cinema for supporting a local artist. And I'm so excited that the original painting is currently in the Where We Meet Exhibition in the Virginia Museum Of Contemporary Art! |
