Ely Cathedral is one of Cambridgeshire’s most spectacular landmarks, rising dramatically above the surrounding landscape. Its extraordinary architecture and presence make it a natural subject for an artist, but for this painting, I wanted to give this much-loved landmark an extra touch of magic.

Painted in my signature watercolour pen-and-ink style, the cathedral is set against a striking strawberry moon, adding a little drama and imagination to the scene. I love taking a familiar British landmark and giving it my own colourful, contemporary twist.

Each print is taken from my original watercolour pen-and-ink painting, created by hand in my studio. I love bringing these familiar British places to life in a fresh and contemporary way, while still capturing the character that makes each place unique.

The Print

Each print is part of a limited edition of 100, with the artist’s signature and individual edition number printed on the artwork. Each print also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, confirming its edition number and authenticity.

The framed option is presented in a solid wood frame from sustainable sources, manufactured to high standards.
